The Zirmerhofk is a wonderfully quietly situated farm on the edge of the forest is this ancient seat of the Perwanger family. Today they call it “a bigger alpine hut”, but everyone who has ever been here knows that it is more accurate to describe this place as an alpine total work of art. In the winding, extensive corridors, one or the other can even get lost and will encounter history everywhere in the house: Laminated wood, painted doors, antique beds and bedside tables are scattered throughout the rooms. In 2019, the UFOs of the Milanese architect Michele De Lucchi still landed on the mountain. Greatly integrated and designed down to the smallest detail, it has once again made a real statement. Breakfast is served in summer, directly on the mountainside, with an amazing view. The restaurant is an eye-catcher and it is also worth a visit from outside. The dining room is embedded by drawings on the walls and in its grandeur it reminds you of the beautiful old grand hotels. You should definitely plan a lot of time here for the wellness area, because here an alpine hay bath or a Gewürztraminer kernel oil pack on one of the skins or in the large heated outdoor pool offers plenty of opportunity to slow down. Hikers are also in the right place here, as the Zirmerhof is a perfect starting point for hiking excursions of all kinds.
