The “White Brewhouse” is a classic in Munich. It belongs to the somewhat finer but less expensive breweries, is the birthplace of the “Schneider Weisse”, and is generally well-known for its pale brews. The traditional brewery lies in the valley, in the middle of Munich’s modern hotel and restaurant scene and many lovely shops. It’s the perfect destination for anyone suffering a hankering for pork knuckles, white sausages (which, according to tradition, should only be served here until the clock strikes 12), or a hearty beef stew with liver dumplings. He who wants to feel comfortable and enjoy a hearty meal – without overwhelming stale air and beer smells – will be right at home here.
