Everyone who takes the cable car to the Vigilius Mountain Resort at an altitude of 1,500 metres initially feels like being in a James Bond movie, a luxury hideaway in the forest. Once there, it meets a modern architecture with a long larch façade that emerges with minimalist sensitivity in the midst of protected natural beauty. When the resort opened its doors in 2000, it was the first hotel in the sense of “arriving, letting go and enjoying here and now”.
Light-filled corridors with wooden sculptures lead to the spacious rooms and suites. On the first floor there is the gourmet restaurant “1500”, downstairs the rustic parlour “Ida”. But the most exciting one is the impressive “Mountain Spa”. There you can drift in the soothing spring water basin or start the day with yoga.
