Like the revolutionary eponym, the chefs of the two great restaurants I Masenini fight to preserve the Italian cuisine of Verona. It is a coincidence that in 1836 the insurgents met in an osteria just around the corner from the trattoria. The restaurants of I Masenini focus more on the excellence of the cuisine and the subtle aesthetics than on politics. Whether it’s tatar or steak, the focus is on the incorruptible taste of the meat served in the trattoria. The wooden tables are elegantly set and the rooms invite you to dine in dignity or immerse yourself in conversation. Wine bottles and schnapps in a row in the gleaming showcases create an orderly atmosphere. Under a generous parasol you can also dine excellently outside.
