This hotel has attained absolute cult status. Build in 1953, Vagabond Hotel is probably the most well known Motel on Biscayne Boulevard. Once upon a time Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr. and Dean Martin hung out here as well. After it had been empty and abandoned for decades it was finally time for a new start in 2014 – it was renovated completely and reopened as a hotel. At the hotel’s restaurant, chef de cuisine Alex Chang conjures up a mix of Asian, American and European cuisine. If you feel like Japanese Yakitori Chicken, caramelized wax beans or ricotta gnocchi, this is the place to go.
