The Alphen is a boutique hotel located just outside Cape Town on one of the oldest wineries in the country. The five-star hotel includes a large garden with ancient oak trees, a pool, various seating areas and daybeds where you can read and doze off. If you are lucky, you will discover the owl that lives in the garden at dusk.
