The Thalkirchdorf village house can be described as an all-rounder: it is a village shop, cheese school, alpine dairy, hotel and restaurant all in one. In 1999 the Thalkirchdorf village house with the village shop was founded. Little by little another part followed. Today it is a true place for connoisseurs and especially lovers of Allgäu dairy products. The cuisine is regional, good middle-class, with lots of cheese. Finally, seven different types of cheese are produced in the own alpine dairy. And you can even learn this in the cheese school. A course costs just under 45 euros. Those who prefer to shop only can stock up on delicious products in the village shop. And if you can’t get enough, stay overnight in one of the guest rooms.
