The heavy wooden door of the Takos seems quite inconspicuous. But once you go down the spiral stairs, you feel as if you have just landed in a hip underground shed in the heart of Tokyo. The Tako is an oasis of Japanese life and leaves Stockholm’s hustle and bustle behind for a moment: splashing water installations, dimmed light and a stylish interior. Behind the concept is a trio of colorful dogs from the Stockholm gastronomy scene who, with the Tako, pursue the mission of creating a new place to be. Mission completed – not only the atmosphere is harmonious to the point, but also the warm service and especially the dishes like the Japanese Wagyu Entrecôte and the Hamachi Sashimi, truly cast a spell over you.
