Sparrow Lodge is a completely renovated retreat from the 1950s – adults only. Whoever arrives here thinks he has lost his way, there is no sign far and wide, the only thing that glows in the dark like a jewel in the night is the pool. But whoever wakes up here in the comfortable Queen Size beds knows immediately why Sparrow Lodge is also known as a retreat for Hollywood people. The 20 barn-like rooms could also have been taken from a Ralph Lauren catalog. The breakfast is relatively basic, but that doesn’t take away from the charm. There’s no question that Hollywood flair definitely blows through the air here. A romantic, mysterious getaway at fair prices.
