The Smucke Steed is a rural getaway as it is written in the book – thanks to the warm hosts you feel at home from the very first second, live in comfortable rooms in a historically grown estate, can relax in the garden during the day and the beach is just seven minutes away for a walk. Just like the Plattdeutsche name already betrays, “a nice place”. And not only Smucke Steed is idyllic, also the surroundings itself. The city of Glücksburg with its rough beaches and beautiful nature definitely has something of the American Long Island. By the way, our favourite room is room No. 7 on the ground floor.
