The wine tavern is now run in the fifth generation as a family business, today two Sigwart siblings with their partners. The traditional tavern is deeply rooted in the region, so that the guests are more locals than tourists. The restaurant has an elegant, welcoming atmosphere with wood-panelled walls and benches around the tables, some of which are set in beautiful niches, so you can sit in private if you need to. Everywhere there are beautiful old farmer’s cupboards, on the floor there are farmer’s carpets. The kitchen is regional, but with a modern approach towards the classic recipes. Every month there is a new menu, which you can see on the homepage. The dishes are more from the upscale, sophisticated cuisine of fish, meat and game with starters, main courses and desserts – very fine and elaborately cooked. The wine cellar is large and is constantly re-equipped by Toni Sigwart. On request there are top-class wine classics – not only from the region.
In summer you can also eat in the garden behind the inn in a very pleasant atmosphere. The Tyrolean wine tavern is a special restaurant for a demanding clientele and must be reserved in advance.
