The Signau House & Garden could not be better located – on the Zürichberg, above the opera house, guests are immersed here in a small oasis. The private villa from 1912 is not only located in one of the best areas – the French Embassy is the direct neighbour, by the way – it is also surrounded by a wonderful garden. It must be said that here you feel more like you are staying with noble friends in the beautiful villa than in a hotel. Because the warm atmosphere created by the two full-blooded hosts feels so cosy that you could think you’ve known the Signau House & Garden for years. The discreet yet exclusive spirit that is so typical of Switzerland makes the house what it is. Breakfast is served in the morning in the winter garden, afternoon tea is enjoyed in one of the lounges, and if you are lucky, one of the regular Chef’s Tables is taking place – when the hostesses invite renowned guest chefs. Oh, and then there’s the in-house cinema, what’s the price of the world!
