It’s no secret that eating out in Zurich is expensive fun. But at the same time, you can usually count on the best quality – and that’s also the case at Sushi SHIN. Even before you take a seat here, an advance payment of CHF 150 is due. But for all fans of Japanese cuisine, let me just say – it’s worth it. Lin Wang spares no expense or effort in getting the best fish into Sushi SHIN. According to the “omokase” philosophy, the chef then decides what is served and in what form. Octopus wrapped in wafer-thin dough with sesame seeds on a lime dressing, nigri with flambéed salmon, otoro or buttery mackerel, deep-fried oysters, Wagyu as one could only dream of, or Japanese aubergine refined with ginger and spring onions. A culinary feast and a plane ticket to Japan becomes almost superfluous!
