Scirocco is a simple fish kiosk close to Piazza Duomo, which is very popular with the inhabitants of Catania and is considered to be the city’s most popular fish fast food stand. Best of all, Scirocco felt it was open 24/7, from 10.30 in the morning to 23.00 in the evening, but most importantly, Scirocco is also open when everyone else is having a siesta. Especially recommended is the Fritto Misso – fried seafood served with a large piece of Sicilian lemon to drizzle on. Authentic, traditional cuisine and ideal for the small hunger in between.
