The Sathatu is a little trip to Sri Lanka and back. Lisa Baladurage spent her childhood in Sri Lanka and brought her memories of the vibrant street food markets of Colombo to Berlin. Lentils, masala, tomatoes, fish sashimi, papadam flatbreads or egg hoppers with coconut sambal and dhal. The menu at Sathatu is authentic. And of course, only seasonal and regional ingredients are used. Cherry on top, then, is the minimalist, beautiful atmosphere. Perfect for a casual dinner.
