Man of independent means and art connoisseur Harald Falckenberg is the owner of one of Germany’s finest and most unique collections of international contemporary art. In the collection one finds paintings, sculptures, and installations by Daniel Richter, Jonathan Meese, Dieter Roth, Nam June Paik and many other well-known and as yet unknown artists. The exhibition space itself is impressive. Through a daring architectural intervention, the former production halls of Phoenix-Werke in Harburg have been transformed into a presentation space on par with many museums. NB: a reservation must be made in order to see the collection.
