The Astair is undoubtedly a true Parisian brasserie and accordingly has all the classics to offer: Frogs’ legs with parsley, Burgundian snails, artichoke vinaigrette, baba au rhum, tarte tatin or crème brûlée. French food at its best. Astair has been a classic since it opened, and so has the location, as the brasserie is located in a passage of the Panorama, a typical example of the covered galleries that were so popular on the Grands Boulevards of the 19th century. The interior is equally classic with red benches, Art Deco mouldings and terrazzo floors. Lunch or dinner can be combined with a visit to the Grevin Museum, which is just around the corner.
