A small, modest hotel in the city centre with budget prices. Famed composer Rachmaninov once inhabited one of the rooms, whose original flooring remains. Guests should not expect luxury, but the location is great: perfectly central and on a quiet street. The hotel’s small size is of course favourable to a larger, chain hotel, and with this comes personal service and rooms with an individual feel. The owner is an artist and has added a personal touch to the hotel, decorating the halls with colourful paintings. There is also a small gallery showing painters downstairs. The few rooms vary considerably in size and features, and there is an apartment option for families, with kitchenette.
