The Pinacoteca is a foundation of the main owners of the Fiat Group, Giovanni Agnelli and his wife Marella. The exhibits come from the couple’s private collection and include 23 paintings and 2 sculptures from the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries. In addition to the works of art, the building itself is certainly the centre of attraction of this museum: the Italian director Renzo Piano had the building built on the roof of the old Fiat factory in Lingotto, where Fiat’s legendary test track used to be.
