Paper Moon has been an institution in Milan since it opened in 1977. We especially love Paper Moon’s second location, which is housed in a 200-year-old neoclassical palazzo in Milan’s Fashion District. Dove-grey walls, custom-made furniture by Promemoria, vaulted fresco ceilings and Venetian terrazzo floors make the atmosphere what it is: special. The menu is small but fine. The focus is on seafood such as king crab with confit tomatoes, scallops with courgette flowers or a whole grilled lobster. Those who prefer meat dishes can look forward to perfectly roasted fillet of beef with black truffles or home-grown chicken with lemon. In short, Paper Moon remains a uniquely great restaurant and is the perfect choice for a special occasion evening.
