A hint of East Coast breezes through the Palihouse, which was an accommodation for travellers who wanted to get a whiff of sea air at the end of the rail line back in the 1920s. Today it is a luxurious boutique hotel with antlers adorning the walls, tiled floors from Malibu, ornate glass doors, a large fireplace, dark wood, and classic chic in its 37 rooms. Almost every room features a small kitchen since the Palihouse is also meant for longer stays, provided one can afford it. The ocean as well as Third Street are right around the corner.
