With Otto in Prenzlauer Berg, someone has really thought about it. And by someone is meant Vadim Otto Ursus. In a brutalist ambience that nevertheless does not seem too cool, the 19 possible guests are served an innovative, regional cuisine. And for this innovative cuisine there is a separate test and research kitchen, called “B34”, located in a disused GDR bunker in northeastern Brandenburg. Here they experiment with pickles with Brandenburg raw milk butter, wild boar tartare with fermented tomatoes, whole grilled char with char garnish and wild herbs, and raw milk ice cream with pickled elderberries and plum seed oil. What a great concept!
