The Museu d’art espanyol contemporani appears amidst the shops in Sant Miquel. It is definitely worth taking a break and visiting the works of Picasso, Tápies and Miró and Barcelóin in the newly renovated old town palace with its imposing courtyard. The March Foundation comprises 70 works by 52 19th century Spanish artists. After the expansion, new works from the period after 1950 have been added, providing a complete overview of Spanish art movements.
