All art lovers should not miss the Museo Pino Pascali. The museum is a tribute to the Arte Povera artist Pino Pascali, who died far too early in 1968. The designer and sculptor drew attention to himself again and again with absurd paintings and reliefs. Today, the modern Pinakothek on southern Lungomare – housed in a former slaughterhouse – presents contemporary works by Pascali and numerous representatives of modern art on two floors.
