Montegray & Independents is the new jewel of Stellenbosch. The small wine bar in Bird Street with a small but fine selection of wines from Montegray Vineyards, as well as other small independent producers, selected every two months according to a specific theme – such as The Berrio, Fable Mountain, Driehoek, Sijnn or Domaine des Dieux. Gin lovers will not be disappointed at Montegray & Independents either, and then there is the delicious selection of tapas, such as the Bobotie spring rolls, tuna ceviche or the King-Prawns with wasabi mayo. In short, a charming place where you can not only get good wine and gin, but also something for the small appetite and usually meet a good audience.
