New York’s legendary Museum of Modern Art has opened its first shop outside the US borders – in Tokyo! There is probably no more prestigious name than the MOMA when it comes to contemporary art and design. Accordingly, the small design shop paradise does not disappoint and offers all design enthusiasts the perfect place to dive for a few hours and take a closer look at the almost 2000 products – which were personally selected by the MOMA curators. Of course, Japanese design icons such as Isamu Noguchi’s Paper Lamps or the exquisite Bamboo Bowls by Yousuke Shimizu are not neglected here either.
