This industrial showpiece was built in 1891 on Prague’s exhibition area Holesovice, on the occasion of the first Anniversary Exhibition documenting the countries industrial growth. It is one of the earliest art nouveau buildings in town and is still in good shape. The huge area also has a small amusement-park for children. Next to this area is the Stromovka Park with all its many small lakes. You are almost only amongst locals here and it is marvellous for long walks.
