The Museum der Moderne presents modern art on four floors with a wonderful view of the valley in an equally modern setting. There are changing special exhibitions, but there is also a permanent collection ranging from Gustav Klimt to Gelatin. If you are planning a longer excursion, we recommend that you purchase the museum package “KunstGenuss” for 12.50 euros. This includes the entrance to the museum, the ascent and descent with the Mönchsberg lift and an art breakfast or an art snack in the M32.
