The Marziali 1922 has the perfect setting, located directly on the quiet square, you feel like you’re in Havana on the terrace under the tall columns. Yes, the whole place has something of Cuba about it. Between the columns and the lush plants, the tables are colourfully distributed all the way to the square. A unique, magical setting, as if from another world. The menu is bistro-like with classics like polpette with tomato sugo, supli’s, salads and variations of stuffed foccacia. It’s a good place to spend a few hours with friends or to come alone and enjoy the hustle and bustle. There are only locals here, because it’s a bit out of the way in the posh Trieste district.
