Madame Cynthia KayserMaus has fulfilled a long-standing wish with Maison°9. The Francophile from Hanseatic League chose the Côte d’Azur as her adopted home back in the 1970s. In 2006, she discovered a 300-year-old wine domain in Cassis and created an exclusive Bed & Breakfast, the Maison °9. She has furnished the four rooms of the old country house with great attention to detail. Her style harmonises perfectly with the hotel’s natural surroundings and deliberately focuses on taste and class. The terrace high above the bay offers a unique setting with an unobstructed view of the surrounding vineyards and the cliffs of Cassis. The beautiful garden with its variety of rosemary and lavender, figs and olive trees is reminiscent of a beautiful, typical French painting and creates a special atmosphere; a new addition is an organic vegetable garden. The owner’s right-hand woman, Madame Barbara, provides a balanced breakfast in the morning and tells her guests where to find the best bouillabaisse in town.
