The Cultural Forum “Luma Arles” is considered one of the most ambitious cultural projects in Europe and is primarily dedicated to the promotion of contemporary art. Scientists, thinkers, artists and researchers from various disciplines use the green oasis of the “Parc des Ateliers” in the heart of Arles to jointly promote experimental art forms and rethink the concept of the exhibition. The centre of the cultural centre is the LUMA Tower, built by Frank Gehry, which with its futuristic form is regarded as an architectural masterpiece and accommodates top-class international exhibitions throughout the year.
