Locanda Demetra – what a fabulous place. The atmosphere, the view, the food, the hosts, you don’t even know where to start, because this restaurant is a matter close to the heart on all levels. Already the location, surrounded by a valley full of olive trees, with a view of the beautiful Montalcino could not be better. Owner Alessandro welcomes his guests with open arms and his wife Emanuela conjures homemade pasta with ingredients from the garden. But the crowning glory is the Tiramisu, because without exaggerating it is one of the best in the world. For all those who not only want to enjoy, but also to learn, the Locanda Demetra offers cooking courses (130 € incl. food). In short, this place is the essence of Italian cuisine.
