Little Duck The Picklery is a charming little gem in Dalston and an experiment in flavour and craft. Each dish on the changing menu is accompanied by homemade ferments and pickles that make the most of seasonal ingredients. Whether it’s gorgonzola with pickled quince or saffron fettuccine with butter and bone marrow, every combination is a delight. The relaxed, warm atmosphere is emphasised by the centrepiece of the restaurant – a huge marble table – which offers a view of glasses full of kombucha, kimchi and labneh. Add a glass of biodynamic wine and the evening is perfect. Little Duck The Picklery is relaxed, stylish and a must for foodies. Whilst Little Duck is not a place for big friend dinners, it is a great spot for a romantic date for two.
