Located directly on the Algunder Waalweg, the inn is a perfect place for a “return to the roots”. This cosy parlour succeeds in combining local delicacies with an ambience of bygone days: House ham, South Tyrolean starter entris or freshly smoked brown trout can be enjoyed on a terrace with a breathtaking view of the Adige Valley. Especially recommendable are the in-house apple dishes with juicy ripe fruits, which land directly on the visitor’s plate from the meadows around the ladder at the Waal. It is therefore worth taking a short break here before or after a hike along the Waalwege.
