Former red-light district Pigalle has become Paris’ new hipster location. Although there is still some indecency in the air and you’ll still see neon signs such as Moulin Rouge, this area has one trendy coffee shop after another. Right in the middle is Le Pigalle, which has fully taken in the district’s charm. Their breakfast croissants come from the neighboring bakery, their beer from a small brewery in Pigalle, and the flowers from the florist next door. Their rooms are small, yet with elaborate details, such as vinyl record players, books, and vintage furniture. It is a bit like visiting a good friend’s place. Le Pigalle is a tribute to this district, and it couldn’t feel any more like Paris. This hotel is definitely the new place to stay.
