The Kushiwakamaru is one of the best addresses when it comes to traditional Yakitori – the typically Japanese grilled chicken and vegetable skewers. The delicious scent of the skewers flies from afar. But not only the Yakitori are sensational, also the atmosphere couldn’t be more authentic, just like a typical Yakitori pub has to be: Spartan, but still cozy, all seats are always occupied, sumptuous portions are served and the most important thing, the skewers simply always taste good. The queue in front of the Kushiwakamaru can be accordingly long from time to time. But the waiting (mostly with Japanese beer in the hand) is worth it, because the atmosphere is fantastic and the service couldn’t be better.
