On the edge of the forest in Altrei, at 1,206 metres above sea level in the Trudner Horn Nature Park, lies the Kürbishof – a charming inn dating back to 1772 that masterfully combines tradition and zeitgeist. In the original farmhouse parlours and the rustic vaulted cellar, mother Sara and son Mathias conjure up a cuisine that combines South Tyrolean classics with creative lightness.
