Between cow pastures and rape fields, Gela Angermann and her husband have realized their dream of living in the country. About 130 goats, a few ponies, donkeys and cats are among them, as well as their own goat cheese dairy and a café where you can try the local delicacies. If you can’t get enough of the delicious vegetable pan with goat mince or the Spätzle with goat cheese – and the danger is great – you can stock up at the farm shop with ingredients for your home. In good weather you can eat outside at beer tables, in cooler temperatures you can make yourself comfortable in the bright winter garden and enjoy the wide view of the adjoining field. The Karolinenhof is particularly popular in autumn and spring, when the cranes stop in the region.
