As the name suggests, Joumon Roppongi is located in Roppongi – the district that is considered to be particularly international due to the numerous embassies that have set up there. Joumon is just as hip and international, as the queue in front of the restaurant during the evening shows. But it’s worth the wait, not only the atmosphere is good, but also the tapas-like dishes that are best shared are excellent. These include in particular the Yakitori, the Japanese version of Souvlaki. It is best to order “Omakase”, which means “you decide”. You can be sure that no house speciality will be lost.
