Jeffrey’s Grocery is an absolute classic in the West Village, where everything is just right. The absolute highlight here is the seafood. In addition to the oyster bar, there are delicious dishes like razor clams with caviar and dill, fried dorado with curry, roast chicken with Jerusalem artichokes or a juicy pastrami hamburger. And don’t forget, the brunch is fantastic too! The bar is particularly lively, however, and in the course of the evening it turns out to be the place to be in the district. No wonder, the ambience with creaking wooden floors, large windows and exposed brickwork is simply cosy for a nightcap.
