The Isla Coffee Berlin is our favourite café right now. We must immediately mention the passionate owners Per Duran and Philipp Reichel, who give this place this very personal touch and have put together a card that is as small and on point as we rarely experience it in balanced perfection. Our favourite is the delicious Cheese Sourdough Bread with miso, a wonderful French toast made from Breadpudding and the divine Croissants & Co from the Albatross Bakery. In addition there is a flat white, which is prepared in a high end barista quality. On top is lived sustainably, food is consciously recycled and not thrown away. The location on Hermannstrasse is anything but romantic, one of the ugliest facades of a house in Berlin is directly opposite, but once stepped through the door and is familiar and tasty.
