In this old room, under the ceiling with the hanging hams, sit old men; those regulars, who come here every day and give the old institution a lot of charm. That’s because the central location also draws in a lot of tourists, who, only too understandably, are seated in the neighbouring rooms. “Latini” is particularly well-known for its “bistecca fiorentina”, and for its ham and salami starters from Tuscany. For dessert try the cantucci by Mantonella from nearby Prato with a good glass of Vinsanto.
