The Hotel Paradis is a paragon of interior designer Dorothée Meilichzon’s way of lending a place her distinctive artistic style. Most notably she gave the walls a great deal of attention. She loves wallpaper – with ornaments, with flowers, with storks, or with jazzy patterns. Furthermore, she effortlessly combines these eyecathers with dainty lamps, modest wooden chairs, and characteristic cushions, which can be found fanned out at the headboards of the beds or acting as backrests along the wall in the bar. The reception, adorned with old trunks, is a nice contrast to the wild Fornasetti clouds. Every one of the 38 rooms features a masterful combination of heavy fabrics, modest to oppulent wallpapers, and marble consoles with asymmetrical legs. From some of the rooms you can even glimpse Sacré-Cœur or the Eiffel Tower.
