A red brick house houses the Hotel Frantz, named after Frantz Bock, the master tailor who commissioned the building in 1647. The quaint and stylish hotel is run by the Pettersson family, whose four family members each guest is likely to meet personally during their stay. The hospitality here is so warm, you feel a bit home away from home. The saying that good things come in small packages is especially true at Hotel Frantz, where most of the 48 well-appointed rooms are small and cosy. And what they may lack in square metres, they make up for in style and charm. Each of the von der rooms has an eclectic, slightly whimsical look, inspired by the fashionable muses and cosmopolitan clients of the tailor Frantz. Another highlight is definitely the breakfast. Be sure to try a slice of the layer cake topped with champagne and strawberries, a true Swedish classic.
