The Heimlichtreu is located in a classic Berlin backyard and accordingly also a little secret, for all who do not know it. But who has found the Heimlichtreu once, will certainly come here more often. You sit comfortably in a Nordic ambience with industrial charm. Especially in summer, the courtyard is the perfect place for a dinner with friends on a balmy summer night. The food concept is laid out in Heimlichtreu for sharing. So there are all kinds of small dishes that are served together on the table and are meant to be shared. For example, the tuna with pumpkin and sweetbreads or the venison carpaccio with coffee and milk are very good. The main courses, such as halibut or smoked entrcôte, can also be shared – or, for those who don’t like sharing, ordered as single servings. An unagitated, likeable restaurant.
