The Haubers Naturresort could also have sprung from an idyllic postcard – green meadows, mountains, a bathing lake, sunshine and in between a few consecrating cows. This oasis is thanks to the hotelier family Hauber, who have extended the original farmhouse from the 1950s year after year and finally transformed it into a hotel in the heart of nature and with a sensational wellness offer. In the accompanying “swallow’s nest”, at 950 metres above sea level, guests are served a heavenly mountain breakfast every morning against a fantastic Alpine backdrop, with mountain coffee made from spring water, scrambled eggs with bacon and herbs and waffles.
