The Gellért is Budapest´s most famous spa and is certainly worth a visit if only for its beautiful art nouveau architecture. The outside pool, framed by playfully shaped and mosaic decorated walls, was the world’s first pool with artificial waves. When the weather is good the roof of the main pool inside can be opened. Steam baths, hot springs, massages and all kinds of other cosmetic and medical therapies can be done which especially attracts the tourists.
