The idyllic, authentic and beautiful inn is sheltered behind a dense hedge at a large crossroads. The rustic atmosphere is not only created by the wall panelling made of Swiss stone pine or the simple wooden tables, but also by the tiled stoves and the candles that are always lit. Since 2010 the young Georg “Schorch” has taken over Weber and cooks Bavarian specialities and Austrian and South Tyrolean cuisine. Try the Böfflamott on bread dumplings, which is also the owner’s favourite. Another tip is the lukewarm blood sausage on bacon sauerkraut with caramel apple. Who has then still place, must try the Kaiserschmarren with almonds and raisins. In addition to all the delicacies, the Palatine, who has earned his spurs in Alfons Schuhbeck’s South Tyrolean parlours, among others, will also have a Terlaner Classico 2010 from South Tyrol. The tasteful and yet down to earth interior of the Jenner wine makes you feel immediately comfortable. This also encourages guests from Munich to take the extra long journey. That’s why sometimes you only get a place at the bar where the owner himself taps the beer. So you should make a reservation and best of all one of the three tables on the wooden gallery.
