The Fundació Pilar i Joan Miró was founded in 1981 through a donation of the world-famous Catalan artist Joan Miró – in Miró’s adopted country of Palma. Above all, the artist’s studio in the old Son Boter house above the garden, which can be visited, is a special piece of jewellery and can be found unchanged, as if Miró had just stood up from the table. The beautiful oil paintings and the new studio planned by Miró’s friend Josep Lluís Sert are also worth seeing!
