Spending the night here comes at an affordable price for all design lovers. What started as an outdoors pop up cocktail bar has since become the most fashionable hostel in the United States. Sydell Group has already created several other successful hotel concepts such as Ace Hotels, and their newest creation Freehand is both popular with travelers as well as locals. Roman & Williams designed the guestrooms, which come with either private or shared bathrooms. Their stylish, maritime atmosphere is intended for ‘urban nomads’. In 2014 Hotel bar Broken Shaker was named one of the 50 best bars in the world, and is the real highlight at Freehand. Sitting under a heaven of fairy lights, this is the place to enjoy unique drinks or homemade Ginger Beer. All drinks are enhanced with fine spices and freshly pressed juices that were cultivated in their own gardens. The hotel’s restaurant 27 is a tribute to Miami’s diversity and its melting pot of aromas and cultures. In a relaxed atmosphere fresh ingredients and locally caught seafood are being served. Freehand as well as its bar and restaurant, are not typical for Miami but exactly what Co-Founder and mixologist Elad Zvi considers to be the perfect mix: dim lights, great service, an easy going atmosphere and a unique crowd.
